Verses 1-3
-
Because God is for us, no enemy can succeed against us in the end (Romans 8:35-39). Even if our bodies are killed, we have eternal life with God (Matthew 10:28). This is the ultimate victory.
-
This will give you confidence. Focus on this to help you overcome fear.

Verses 4-8
-
Verses 4. The one thing that we should want is to be close with God. Desire the person of God more than anything else that God could give. Knowing God Himself is of the greatest value.

-
Verse 8. Seek intimacy with God, especially to hear His voice.
-
-
Verse 6. Pray with joy in your heart also.

It can be a sacrifice to choose joy when things are hard. When your flesh wants to complain, you are sacrificing what your flesh wants in order to pray and be joyful anyway. This is valuable to God.
-
Verses 9-10
-
Remember that God will always be with you (Matthew 28:20).
-
Whether people help you or not, God will take care of you. Do not believe that you're unloved just because people may forsake you. God, who is most important, will always love you.
-

Verse 13-14. Remember that, in difficult times, belief/faith in God will keep you from becoming discouraged, and patience is key to having strength. Practice being patient if you want to be stronger. Do not let yourself become anxious or rushed.
-
Faith and patience are great strength. Focus on growing your faith and patience.
-
Focusing on doing the Word and praying will help this.
