Verse 2

It is sinful to rush things. Don't rush things. Instead, plan your actions carefully, keep a consistent work, and be patient for the results.

If you rush things or try to gain something quickly, it will not be good for you in the end (Proverbs 20:21).

Verse 11

You will be better at controlling your emotions and anger if you have greater wisdom.

Work on learning what the Word says about the consequences of uncontrolled emotions, and this will motivate you to be better with your own emotions.

Verse 13

Choosing the wrong spouse and raising children to be fools will bring some of the greatest pain and turmoil into your life.

Who you choose to marry and how you raise your children is critically important. Learn how to do these things early!

Verse 15

Drowsiness and a struggle to get up in the morning are signs of laziness. Work on making healthy choices and being diligent while you are awake, and this will help you to not be so sleepy.

Hard work (Ecclesiastes 5:12), and a great diet, exercise, and water intake will give you refreshing sleep and great energy.

And remember that if you are idle or busy with meaningless things in your time, you will always lack.

Verse 16

Remember that obeying God is the same as doing what's best for you. Be careful to obey the Word.

But remember that bad things will come wherever you aren't careful to do what the Word says. Being careless means acting without considering what God says!

Verse 17

Don't worry about what you must give to those in need, when you have the opportunity.God will provide you with more if you are a giver.
Verse 19

Do not pay for the mistakes of an impulsive or angry person (don't bail them out). You will be wasting resources and enabling their sin. Help them repent of their ways instead.

Overall, if a person's sin is causing them problems, don't fix their problems for them. Help them to stop their sin instead.
Verse 21

Remember that no matter the plans you make, and even if your plans fail, God's plan always comes to pass. Let this reassure you!
Verse 24

Lazy people find it too hard even to feed themselves normally.

Don't be the kind of person that is always looking for the easiest or most convenient way to eat. This shows laziness. Put in the work to provide and/or prepare meals that are good for you.

Verse 27

You might think you have a lot of knowledge or wisdom, but if you ever stop seeking and receiving correction or rebuke, you will stray away from wisdom.

No matter how much you grow, always seek out opportunities to gain correction or counsel from other wise people in your life. Regularly ask wise people how you could be better.
