Verses 1-4

When dealing with frustrations, it is important not only to wait for God's answers/solutions, but also to wait patiently.

Patience and prayer will bring solutions that will cause great joy and praise to God

Impatience will only make things worse.

Be patient by using prayer to keep your mind cheerful and focused on trusting God, rather than impatient and frustrated.

Also keep your trust in God through godly, moral conduct. Don't turn to sin. This also abandons patience.

Verse 5

Remember that God's works in your life and His thoughts about you are innumerable, and they are all for your good.

Don't doubt that God is involved in your life! He is always working and accomplishing His perfect will for you.

Verses 6-8

This passage reminds us that what God desires from us is that we would listen to Him and obey Him.

Focus on growing in obedience to God. This is the greatest worship that you could ever offer Him!

This is far more valuable than any amends or apology for sin.

Verses 9-10

Do not be ashamed to tell people about God. Be bold to speak what the Word says!
Verses 11-13

When you are dealing with pain from your sin, focus on God's grace and mercy, and focus on the truth of His Word.

Remember that you are forgiven in Christ, and that the Word will give you power to overcome. Pray, and fill your mind with the Word!

Verses 14-16
-
In the end, the wicked will be defeated, and you will have great joy in your salvation. Start rejoicing now! Be happy about the victory you have in Jesus!
Verse 17

Similar to verse 5, David highlight the amazing fact the God—the God of the universe—actually thinks about us!

Let this reality remind you to always pray, because God is pleased to hear you. He is thinking about you already!
