Joseph was motivated not to sin against Potiphar because he knew how much Potiphar trusted him, and how much good he had received from him.
-
You will be motivated not to sin if you stay mindful of how much grace you've been given by God. If you know how gracious God has been to you, you will not want to abuse His grace.
-
Learn about the grace of God. This will help you not to sin.
-
Verses 11-12

Joseph did well here to run from Potiphar's wife.
-
Flee from sin; do not give it even a moment to tempt you (2 Timothy 2:22).
-
Verses 13-21
-
As with Joseph, even when you do what is right, some sinners will try to accuse you of wrong.
-
If this leads to you being punished for something you didn't do, take it patiently. As with Joseph, God will give you grace and favor from others in that situation, which will help you to endure.
-
Understand that going through hardships, even if they are undeserved, test your faith and patience and are good for your growth.
