Take steps to implement the changes/actions you see below. Once you are actively doing something on the list, and you've made it a habit, move on to forming a habit doing the next item on the list. Take it a step at a time, but feel free to do multiple things on the list at once if you can!
- Read your Bible every day (Romans 12:2).
- Read your Bible with the intent of looking for knowledge/wisdom that you can use to serve others and help them grow in their faith.
- Discipline your body so that you're healthy and therefore more effective for God's kingdom (1 Corinthians 9:27).
- Watch for opportunities to inconvenience yourself in order to help a fellow believer (1 John 3:16). Look to sacrifice time, money, or energy for someone else's benefit (1 John 3:17). This can mean opening your home to others more often, to show hospitality; it can mean giving financially to others more, etc.
- Serve God's kingdom by sacrificing free time to pursue relationships and opportunities to speak to unbelievers about the gospel (1 Corinthians 9:19).
- Work harder to earn resources that you can use to give to others / care for them (Acts 20:34-35, Ephesians 4:28) (incorporate more hours of work for financial gain).
