Verse 1
-
During the Tribulation, there will be an emergence of demonic creatures or monsters, some from land and some from the sea, that will roam and destroy much life (Isaiah 13:21-22, 34:13-14, Jeremiah 51:37, Revelation 9:3-11, 15-19, Revelation 18:2). But in the end, God will destroy these monsters.
-
Some of these creatures are called “wild beasts” or “wild beasts of the desert”. Jesus Himself was amongst these creatures during His 40 days of trial in the wilderness (Mark 1:13).
-
Verses 2-10

However, God will always take care of His people as His own vineyard. And those of us who were formerly against God are now given the chance to make peace with Him through the gospel (verses 4-5).
-
Always remember that we were against God—His enemies—and still He sent His Son to save us (Romans 5:8).
-
-
Israel itself, though having been under judgment, will be recovered and their sin forgiven. Israel as a nation will join with believers and come to Christ in the end (Romans 11:26-27).
Verses 10-11
-
But the nations of the unbelieving world, due in large to their willful lack of knowledge and understanding (Ephesians 4:18, Hosea 4:6), will receive no mercy from God when judgment comes.
-
Bring knowledge of the Word to those who will hear it. This is a first step to helping unbelievers comes to salvation and receive the same mercy that you have received.
-
Verses 12-13
-
This passage applies to the end, for us, since we know that all believers will be gathered to Christ with the great trumpet blast of Christ's coming (Matthew 24:30-31).
-
And this will happen when it seems that we would perish due to the terrors of the Tribulation; but God will save us just in time (Matthew 24:22).
