Verses 1-3,7,11

There is no reason to fear anything, because God is present with you—close to you—everywhere!

Remind yourself often how near God is to you. And as your faith grows, you will have less and less fear!

Verses 4-6

We, as believers, are the city of God. God's kingdom and His presence with us brings us great joy. And because we are in God's kingdom, which cannot be defeated, neither can we be defeated.

However, the kingdoms of this world will be removed by the kingdom of God one day.
Verses 8-10

Even though there is much turmoil and rage in the world, God will put a swift end to it all. God is in charge in all the earth.

One of the best things that we can do, to calm ourselves, is to be still and rest in God's power.

Practice stillness often. As part of prayer time, sit, close your eyes, plug your ears, wait, and then pray. This helps to bring stillness to the mind, and it will help you to hear God's voice better.
