Verses 1-10, 15-26.

Since we are believers in Jesus, God is on our side, and He will defend us. God will fight against those who hurt believers (Romans 8:31-33, 2 Thessalonians 1:6-7).

We might not see this right now, but we will see it in the end, when God takes vengeance on the wicked (Romans 12:19-21).

Your job is to show kindness to those who mistreat you, in hopes that some of them will repent and be saved also.

Also be joyful about the salvation you have in Christ!

Verses 11-14

Pray for those who persecute or mistreat you (Matthew 5:43-44).

Even fasting, with prayer, is a good idea when praying for those who are difficult to pray for. This is an act of humility.

Verses 27-29

Be joyful about the cause of other believers in your life.

Speak about God in gratitude and praise all day long. Pray always, and praise always!
