144,000 people, who appear to be of Hebrew descent, will be supernaturally protected during the Great Tribulation.
-
These are likely Jews that will come to Christ during the end, since “all Israel shall be saved” (Romans 11:26).

Verses 9-17
-
People will be saved during the Tribulation, and many believers will be martyred. In these ways they will “come out of the Great Tribulation” as fruit for the kingdom.
-
The believers during the Tribulation will endure more suffering than has ever taken place in the history of the human race, and so will be rewarded with a special relationship with Christ in His kingdom.
-
Know that suffering brings closeness with Christ (Philippians 3:10, Romans 8:17), and rejoice to the extent that you suffer as Christ suffered (1 Peter 4:13).
