Why do we need to be refeshed with the Word?
"The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul" (Psalm 19:7 NIV).
Life can be taxing, and the information propagated by the sinful world does nothing but burden and pollute our minds. One of the purposes of God's Word, as we read it, is to refresh our minds by recentering our thinking on what is good and true. Read anywhere in the Word, on any topic, and read until you feel refreshed!
